You will have one problem with your children at BAYOU: they won’t want to leave. Lara will spoil them for choice with a cinema, mini football pitch, trampoline and a gaming room next to the pool.. (With internationally-certified childcare and kids’ clubs, the adults won’t be in a rush to leave either…)

Crèche, six months-4 years

Keep your small family members entertained and safe when you drop them at the supervised creche. Parents will be delighted to know that it’s run by the best and most trusted professional childcare organisation, Worldwide Kids, who have 35 years of experience providing childcare at the world’s most prestigious resorts.

Children’s club, 4-12 years

Older children can burn off energy on the trampoline or get competitive on the football pitch. Hungry stomachs are catered for well beyond the usual fayre with a children’s nutrition programme by 3x Sunday Times bestseller and child-nutritionist powerhouse Charlotte Stirling-Reed.

Teens’ club, 12-17 years

Teens who are trying to shake off their parents will be happy to hang out with their peers at LOL club instead. And if they’re reticent about coming along on the first day, just utter those irresistible words: gaming room.

Childrens In Room Treats

Allow children to feel like mini grown-ups as they snuggle up in their BAYOU robes. They will find other sweet home-comforts waiting for them too. Later, they can open up their special gifts, including magnifying glasses and binoculars to help them explore their new surroundings.

Children’s Services

Treat yourself to an adult-only evening with our babysitting services, available to pre-book before you arrive at Lara. Alternatively, if you’re looking for something to do with your younger ones that also involves sitting down, then a child-friendly movie in Lara’s own cinema works for everybody.

Children’s Amenities

Switch off at Lara, knowing that your children have everything they need. You don’t have to bring the whole kit either, as you can pick up cots, buggies, monitors, baths and any other equipment you can think of. At mealtimes, you can sit back too. There is a dedicated children’s buffet and family-only dining areas. Babies are of course catered for with bottle warmers, baby food, sterilisers and highchairs so you can focus on filling up your own buffet plate… for once.
